TELL ME, WHAT IS YOUR FIRE?
“TELL ME, WHAT IS YOUR FIRE?”
Element Fire, is the force of creation and destruction. Fire warms, and gives life and light. And it destroys. Leaving dark, black starched earth and smoke. Fire is the beginning of all life. And in many cultures, it also marks the end of a life. When we give our body back to the fire.
“In the beginning there was Light and the Light was God.”
In all religions, Fire is a power of Creation itself. And in most religions, there also is an element of warning, of hell, of doom in it.
The first element
In the wheel with the four directions that I am trained in and have taken as my own in my practices Fire is the element connected to the East. Where the sun rises. Our own fireball. our star. The east. Where a new day begins. It is the light that marks the beginning of our days, of our new years and our life on earth. “In the beginning there was Light”.
Fire is the most masculine element. The element of power, of will. The element of individuality. Of the ego. Of “I”.
Fire is needed to start something, to initiate. It is needed to grow and expand. To act and to shine. Free will, and free power, is awe-inspiring. It is the force that makes us want, and long, and desire. It is the force that makes us do, and change, and act.
It is the force of “what do I feel like”, and “what is good for me”.
And it is the force of me, instead of you. The force of rage, anger and unpredictability.
For me it always was the force of ‘too much’. And I dimmed my fire, until there was very little left for me to use effectively.
Using fire
Fire is my favorite element to work with now. Because it starts there, with ME.
With I. What do you WANT? What do you need for you to be happy?
