Lion Energy is fierce. Strong. I have been familiar with Lion energy all my life, coming from a family of Lions (my mother’s last name is ‘van Leeuwen’: “from the Lions”, I have since recently been challenged by claiming and owning my lion energy.
Lion is the only big cat who chose community over solitude. The pride runs on the lionesses — matriarchal, collaborative, feeding and raising the young together, led by the oldest and most experienced female.

Here it is:

For years, butterfly felt too familiar to me. Too often used. A symbol of transformation in every spiritual space, on every vision board, in every coaching programme.

Then I lost Anna. My third pregnancy. Seven weeks. And swallowtail butterflies began to appear — dancing, unhurried, unmistakably her. That is when butterfly stopped being a concept and became a living medicine.

Not transformation as a popular idea. But as biology. As threshold. As the moment what was worked in darkness finally arrives in full light: and the world can see what was always becoming.

She has been named after a goddess in every language on earth. Our Lady's Bird. Freya's messenger. Aphrodite's holy sign.

She cannot be kept. I learned this as a child: jar, flowers, aphids and all. She stayed until she was done, and then she left. Unhurried. Entirely herself.

This is her first medicine.

Not everything sacred can be contained. Some grace lands, does its work, and moves on.

Badger doesn’t just dig — she takes you into the feminine darkness, the warm, breathing earth beneath the surface. What tunnels in you remain unexplored? She forces you to feel safe in the dark, to make it your ally. Can you root beyond familiar? Work with the ground, the season, your own instincts? Build something that will outlive you — and call the deep, sensual dark you built it from home?

Horse might be one of the most known, but also least properly understood animal guides. Horse is four legged, deeply grounded, super sensitivity. The knowing. The intuition.

The ability to perceive the subtlest shifts, tiniest energy dynamic and littlest trembling.

Horses don't persuade, hunt or even gather. They know. They are.

Horse teaches us to power of sensing, of herd intelligence, of boundaries and conditions. And the burdens humanity's progress focus has brought to our most sensitive beings.

Spiders signify creation itself. Spiders create, and then rest, expecting to receive. Spiders will feel the vibration. It just resonates. Spiders wait and see. Spiders Trust. Ready to receive (…)

Robin reminds us to ground our goals, and plans. Really bringing it here, on earth. Making it real. Robin represents new beginnings. Leaving the old and preparing for springtime. Robins are about perseverance, action, and manifestation. Robin opens doors, and brings the power to make happen. In a joyful, easy going way.

Crow teachings: It is through our dark shadows and the myths that surround it that we can also embrace our light. What is the shadow you don’t want people to see, what is the part that you hold in the dark, that you silence? The part that doesn’t get a voice? Can you be vocal, and Open? Can you be in the shadow and stay there, without needing to move to the light? Can you receive there?
