SPIDER

Not the most popular guide when I talk to people. But make no mistake. Spider is a super powerful messenger. Often underestimated by those that haven’t worked with her before. I sometimes get disappointed faces when people for example pick a card from a deck and Spider shows up. But they are always grateful when they hear Spider’s guidance. Because when Spider comes to you, she is bringing you a very powerful message. So pay attention.

Spider is the messenger of female creative energy. The power of building a web. Care-ful Connections Spider uses the the strongest silver lines. Silver is the color of the divine feminine. The color of the Silver light of the moon. Spider builds her silver web and then waits. Open to receive. Trusting that whatever the Universe sends her way, will be what she needs. Trusting that Mother Earth will be nourishing, feeding her. Trusting in the abundance of ‘Enough’.

Spider appears with an invitation to balance. Between masculine energy and the feminine energy (which in reality means bringing in the feminine energy). Between past and future (which is the Now!) Between the material and the spiritual. Between Earth and Heaven. Giving and receiving. Waking and dreaming. in a sense, Spider for me represents element Ether: The Here and Now of Life. In the centre.

In Spiders, the female is ofter the larger one. When Spider calls to you, check with yourself how much feminine energy you have access to. And if it is really feminine energy or e-man-cipated energy. Are you in overdrive, almost eating up a male partner? Or maybe depending too much on the men in your life?

Spider also teaches that it is time to weave our dreams, and trust that they will come true. Possibly tomorrow.

Spider brings three types of magic:

  • the magic of creation, of weaving, designing and manifesting

  • the magic of confirmation, the conformation of our own powers and manifestation.

  • the magic of connection - of mirroring everything into the spiral of the web, of death and re-birth.

Creative Powers
Spider silk is one of the strongest but least visible materials on the planet. Don’t be afraid to use your creative powers in non-obvious places. It will especially be needed there.

Infinity ♾
Finally, Spider symbolises the 8. Spiders have eight legs, and often eight eyes. Also their bodies are the shape of an 8. Spiders symbolise the eternal balance between extremes. And show us how everything just is. Spiders have lived on earth for more than 400 million years, They are more ancient than dinosaurs. They have outlived them. And now they bring us all that infinite wisdom.

Next time you see Spider…. Bow, nod, and thank her for ther wisdom.

It might be time for you to start weaving something.

Channeling spider:

“Humans have lost the ability to find a place -build a home- in harmony with nature, without harming nature. You have forgotten the ability to fit in to what is there. Spiders build webs, their homes, carefully, in sync with nature, our surroundings. Where each thread, each action is deliberate, and respectful. Silver lines of trust and intention. Spiraling towards the centre.

Spiders wait and see. Spiders Trust. Ready to receive. Trust that the universe will give us exactly what we need, when we need it. Spiders create, and then rest, expecting to receive. Spiders will feel the vibration of what is there for them. What feeds them. It just resonates.

Spiders create art, and it is always in co-creation with the elements. Where drops of dew (Water), the magic of mornings, and the play between sunlight (Fire) together create beauty. Weaving threads that show the balance between fire and water is an art form.”

My own experience with Spider
(Plant medicine ceremony - In the Heart of Change)

“The drum of Horse healed my nausea. When opened my eyes and I looked carefully I saw a small Spider, hanging on a thread inside the Drum, in the void, the empty centre at the back of the Drum I had been using, playing. She was still hanging there. Horse taught me balance, and Spider came to empower that message. The feminine way of balance. Of receiving, trusting and resonating. Holding ourselves in the Centre. Being fully present.”

Months later, I emailed one of my teachers to reply to her email cancelling my session with her, as she was ill with Covid. Somehow, Spider came through, and I started typing away, some of the messages I got from Spider. When I finished writing her message down, I picked up my card deck, to check the messages,… Some old habit of not being sure if I ‘got this right’.

Spider was on top of the deck. The first card.
In my Tarot Deck, the Spider is the High Priestess card.

It was enough for me to have the guts to actually send the email and the unasked-for messages of Spider. I got an instant reply back. “Sister, this is magic, Spider is one of my totem animals. My house is full of Spiders…! Thank you!
